Description

The temporary Vendor Escort is part of the Network Services team at Vanderbilt University. Network Services will be performing a wireless redesign and life-cycle of the equipment in several housing units this summer. These areas will be occupied with summer students and interns. Per a Housing policy, vendors and contractors are not allowed in occupied rooms without a Vanderbilt escort. This request is for a temporary employee to augment our staff to have someone that can serve as an escort and assist in access to the dorm rooms for these summer projects. Although exact schedules are being determined, the approximate time frame would be from shortly after commencement until student return.

Duties and Responsibilities

The temporary Vendor Escort will escort vendors for the survey and installation of wireless network equipment. Pick-up keys from the key shop to provide access to areas being worked that day.

The ideal candidate would be punctual, responsible and easily work with a variety of vendor representatives.
