Vanderbilt University Resolution Optimization Specialist in Nashville, Tennessee

Key Functions and Expected Performance:

• Facilitate resolution meetings, including scheduling key events, organizing and distributing materials, and engaging contracted resources.

• Issue key case communications and documents in accordance with COE policies and procedures.

• Coordinate timely assurance completion for grant recipients.

• Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings across multiple calendars to assure timely completion of core COE functions and triaging administrative issues.

• Maintain accurate and complete records.

• Coordinate with the Office Manager and Director of Strategic Optimization to assure accurate data collection, curation, and reporting.

• Format and redact written work product in accordance with COE policies and procedures.

• Champion measurable continuous improvement by optimizing people, processes, and technology, including AI, to democratize access and opportunity to learning, development, and growth opportunities across the organization.

• Additionally, undertake any other responsibilities as needed.

Supervisory Relationships:

This position does not have supervisory responsibility; this position reports administratively and functionally to the Director of Strategic Optimization.

Education and Certifications:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

• A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education is preferred.

Experience and Skills:

• At least two years of related work experience in process administration is strongly preferred.

• Strong interpersonal skills are required.

• Thorough working knowledge of the full suite of Microsoft Office products is required.

• Working knowledge of online meeting platforms is preferred.

• Knowledge of case management processes, particularly in equity-related fields, is preferred.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.

• Strong proofreading skills are required.

• Attention to detail is required.

• Experience with redaction tools is preferred.

• Strong professional integrity and the ability to maintain the privacy of information is required.

• Experience working with a diverse population is strongly preferred.
