Project Manager (Office of the Provost) (Job Number: 1901090)
The Project Manager position is responsible for providing to the Office of the Provost support for various projects, initiatives, and strategic reports. The position will report directly to the Assistant Provost, the Project Manager interacts with faculty, staff and partners across campus.
The Office of the Provost works closely with the chancellor and other vice chancellors to fulfill the university's mission.

Duties and responsibilities
In collaboration with the Assistant Provost and other Provost Team members, plan and manage the execution of projects and reports to meet established strategic goals and objectives.
Provides professional and/or technical support in the execution of day-to-day project activities.
Develop and implements detailed project plans to monitor and track progress
Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs
Works with partners across Academic Affairs and the university to coordinate resources and to execute projects.
Identifies, analyzes and improves upon existing processes.
Assists in implementation, data collection and processing along with strategic partners across campus.
Conducts research, analyses, provides reports, and develops recommendations as necessary.
Conducts research and benchmarking reports on best practices in higher education.
Profile of an Ideal Candidate
A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education is necessary.
A Master’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education combined with experience in higher education is necessary.
A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience is necessary. (Experience gained through assistantships, practicums etc. while obtaining an advanced degree may be considered)
Ability to multi-task and prioritize in order to meet project deadlines is necessary.
Superior project management and time management skills are necessary.
Self-motivated and collaborative with a positive and professional approach is necessary.
Exceptional interpersonal skills are necessary.
Ability to interact with individuals across the university is necessary.
Proficiency in office software tools (e.g. Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point) is necessary.
Familiarity with data analytics software (e.g. Tableau) is preferred.
